Public Access to Campland on the Bay
The public is welcome to enjoy the beach and bay access. Campland on the Bay is leased from the City of San Diego and is located on leased tidelands. Thirty-one complimentary public parking spaces including four EV chargers (not to be used for overnight storage) are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Free Camping Program for the Underserved
Campland launches program to introduce the underserved to camping. Camp sites for 2025 are now sold out and we are currently accepting applications for the year 2026 only. Learn more about our free camping program.
