Located on the shores of Mission Bay, and part of Mission Bay Park, Campland has been a vacation spot for families since 1969. Surrounded by 27 miles of shoreline, Mission Bay is a 4,600-acre aquatic playground, the largest of its kind in the world! The balmy climate, proximity to SeaWorld, Legoland, San Diego Zoo, the Gaslamp Quarter, Balboa Park, and other area attractions, combined with Campland’s amenities, make this beachfront playground a legendary family retreat.

Fishing at Mission Bay

Almost all of Mission Bay’s 27 miles of shoreline is accessible for fishermen. The Bay is known for Spotted Bay Bass, Halibut, and Corvina. Be sure to have a California fishing license unless you are fishing from a public pier. Pick up bait and other supplies for your fishing expedition at The Campland Market.

The United State's Largest Aquatic Park

Mission Bay is a water enthusiasts’ dream destination.  It offers a 14-mile bicycle trail around the bay.  Campland on the Bay is nestled right along the shores of Mission Bay and offers an onsite boat ramp and marina.
