Battle of the Bands

This year we are hosting auditions for the 2022 season of Campland Rocks! 

Each year, Campland on the Bay® hosts Campland Rocks on Friday and Saturday evenings from Memorial Weekend through early October. We also include Sunday on holiday weekends like Memorial and Labor Day weekend.  Local bands perform on the Central Park stage to liven up evenings.  These are paid gigs and a lot of fun.

Sign up for your audition – October 18 – 22, 2021.  We have time slots starting at 9 am – 5 pm and request bands perform 2 – 3 songs that showcase your talent.

Bands – we are looking for family-friendly music.  Some of our most popular bands are tribute bands or bands that perform varying genres of music.

Bring your band and equipment.  We have a sound system to rock out. If bands cannot make it in person, they still must sign up for a timeslot and submit a new video stating who they are, and play two songs that show their best skill and range.  No band will be paid during Battle of the Bands. The bands who are chosen for the 2022 season will be sent a contract they will have 48 hours to review, sign and return to the Recreation Director. If the contract is not returned within 48 hours, the offer will go to the next band. We are making a backup list if a band must cancel their performance, bands will be contacted from first to last.

We are also auditioning soloists or small acoustic bands for Sundays in the cantina, with no more than 3 members.
